WHAT TO DO AFTER A LOSS
Photograph or videotape damaged property BEFORE you begin any cleanup. Contact a Claim Quest, Inc. public adjuster to assist you with the claim filing process. We can file the claim for you by contacting the insurance company or agent. Save all of your receipts for damaged property, contents property, and any and all additional expenses such as food, gas, batteries, etc.
DETERMINING POLICY COVERAGE
The first and perhaps the most crucial step is the analysis of the policy provisions and conditions to determine the insured(s) rights and responsibilities, as well as the obligations(s) of the insurance company. Understanding the policy is crucial. Hiring a public adjuster to consult with you to interpret your policy is the key to any claim.
DOCUMENTATION OF THE CLAIM
The insured is required to prove the full extent of the loss and support the claim with appropriate documentation. The insured is required to participate in obtaining any documents, photos, or any claim-related items. Our professional team will recreate an exact picture of your property prior to the loss, which may include architectural drawings, detailed cost estimates, and a variety of evaluations, projections and forecasts. This is one of the key, and most important, functions performed by our firm for the insured(s) and the basis by which our clients recover the maximum settlement.
PRESENTATION OF CLAIM
After the full extent of the loss has been determined and documented, the schedule of loss and damages is prepared, reviewed and presented to the insurance carrier for their review for a resolution. We have you review our completed insurance settlement demand first. You are required to accept it before we even send it to your insurance company.
NEGOTIATION OF SETTLEMENT
Our expertise in the documentation and presentation of the claim(s) gives us the ability to negotiate from a well-defined settlement that will maximize all insurance benefits that are rightfully owed to the policyholder.
SCHEDULE A CONSULTATION
Let us help you through your insurance claim process. Separate consultation services are available by Michael Barral, licensed Public Adjuster. The initial consultation is free. However, multiple consultations are not, unless approved by the owner first. The fees range from $50.00 to $250.00 per hour, depending on your particular case/claim. You may use Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App. If we agree to represent you on a contingency fee basis, we will then reimburse your consultation fee when your insurance claim is successfully paid. The fee reimbursement does not apply to claim denials.
